Dr. Otto hails from Naples, Florida and is a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where she received her undergraduate degrees in Food Science & Human Nutrition and Leadership. Dr. Otto attended Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA where she graduated with her D.D.S. degree. Upon graduation from dental school, she went on to complete an advanced hospital-based General Practice Residency training at Denver Health Medical Center, a level-one trauma center in Denver, CO.
During her time at Denver Health, Dr. Otto gained advanced training in pediatrics, special healthcare needs patient populations, oral surgery, anesthesia, hospital dentistry, and trauma dentistry. Dr. Otto is a nationally recognized leader in the dental community, and currently holds national leadership positions with the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Student Dental Association. With these roles, Dr. Otto travels the country to lecture to dental students and new dentists on clinical and practice management techniques, as well as fundamentals in personal development and leadership growth.
Dr. Otto has had extensive experience providing comprehensive dental care to pediatric and special healthcare needs patient populations, with patient safety set as her number one priority. Dr. Otto more than doubles her continuing education requirements each year to ensure that the patients she serves have the best possible care and up-to-date techniques available to them. Through her advanced training and certifications, Dr. Otto offers nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, and IV/general anesthesia treatment options to her patients. Her calm, easy-going, and personable demeanor are sure to put your children at ease for all of their dental and oral health needs!
