Dr. Christine Hammer is originally from the Chicago area. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in Arizona and her pediatric training at the University of Maryland. She also has a Master’s in Health Care Ethics.
In addition to working at iKids, Dr. Hammer speaks nationally on pediatric dentistry and work/life balance for women. She is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, an honor received by only 4% of dentists who are nominated by their peers and accepted for membership, as well as a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Hammer practices comprehensive, full scope pediatric dentistry including treating infants, children, with special needs and kids with complex medical challenges. Her goal is to help every child leave his or her visit feeling comfortable, confident, and excited to visit the dentist. Dr. Hammer is known for her compassionate, calming bedside manner and being relatable to children
Dr. Hammer’s husband is on active duty with the US Navy Dental Corps. They have an infant daughter. Outside of work, Dr. Hammer does distance running, spin, attends church, and spends time with family.
